What is RoHS?

The RoHS directive restricting for use of certain dangerous substances entered into force on 01.07.2006 in the EU Member States.

The RoHS Directive was introduced for disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, and for enlargement the WEEE Directive.

The RoHS Directive restricted the use of dangerous ingredients from products and supports an efficient and environmentally friendly recycling of no longer used electrical and electronic products.

The RoHS-Directive
The RoHS Directive of the European Union - 2011/95/EC - looks at the objectives and detailed definitions of necessary changes and entry into force restricting the use of certain dangerous substances in the products.
